Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) organises an rally to raise public awareness on the prevention of dengue on Wednesday.
The procession was led by Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Gautam Buddha Das.
University teachers, officials, students and staff participated in the procession. The Vice Chancellor inaugurated a month-long drug dispensary program to eliminate mosquitoes in various establishments and courtyards on the university campus.
In a brief statement, Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Gautam Buddha Das urged all to prevent dengue by destroying mosquito breeding grounds by keeping the house and house clean.
He said that the program will continue to disperse the menstrual drugs in residential halls of the university campus, quarters of teachers and officers and staff in adjoining areas.
It was attended by among others Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries Prof Dr Nurul Absar Khan, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Prof Dr Abdul Ahad, Dean of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology Prof Dr Jannatara Khatun, Director of Poultry Research Center and Research on Poultry Research Center.
