CVASU celebrates the historic Mujibnagar Day. Historical Mujibnagar Day was observed with due dignity at Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) on Sunday.
A wreath was laid at the mural of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at the university campus on Sunday morning. The wreath was laid by the Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries and Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nurul Abshar Khan. Afterwards, wreaths were laid on the mural of Bangabandhu by the Teachers' Association, Officers' Association, Progressive Teachers' Forum and Residential Hall.
After handing over the wreath, Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nurul Abshar Khan spoke highlighting the context and significance of the historic Mujibnagar Day.
Dean of the University, Director of the Institute, Registrar, Head of Department, Provost, Director of various departments, teachers, officers, students and staff including Proctor were present at the occasion.
The Mujibnagar Day program included displaying banners at the main entrance of the university and promoting Bangabandhu's historic speech throughout the day.
