A cultural programme was held in Jibannagar upazila of Chuadanga on the occasion of Bangladesh being upgraded into a developing country. Officials of Jibannagar upazila administration arranged the programme on Saturday night.
A short but detailed history of the life of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was shown at the beginning of the programme.
After that, a video documentary on the Liberation War of Bangladesh was also shown.
Later, video documentaries on mega projects of the country such as Padma Bridge Project, Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant Project, and Metrorail Projects were shown. Artists of Darshana Bhairab Cultural Organisation performed songs and other cultural activities.
Local artists also shared the stage with them. More than 5, 000 people of the area attended the program.
