Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) held its 130th Syndicate meeting.
The 130th syndicate meeting of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology was held at the syndicate room of the university’s administrative building on the campus in Chattogram on Wednesday.
CUET vice-chancellor Mohammad Rafiqul Alam presided over the meeting, according to a press release
CUET Civil Engineering Faculty Acting Dean Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman Bhuiyan, Engineering and Technology Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Sunil Dhar, Chittagong Divisional Commissioner Md. Tofail Islam. Planning and Development Department Director Prof. Dr. Kazi Delwar Hossain, Chittagong University Accounting and Professor of Information Systems Department Dr. Sultan Ahmad, Professor of Computer Science and Engineering Department of Jahangirnagar University Dr. Mohammad Zahidur Rahman, Managing Director of Eastern Refinery Limited Eng. Md Lokman, CUET Computer Science and Engineering Department Professor Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Khan and Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department Professor Dr. Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan participated.
Besides, Additional Secretary (Development) of Secondary and Higher Education Department of Ministry of Education Belayet Hossain Talukdar, Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department of Bangladesh University of Engineering Dr. Md. Aynal Haque and Chairman of Chittagong Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Prof. Mustafa Kamrul Akhtar were connected online. At the beginning of the meeting, Syndicate Chairman Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Alam welcomed the new member of the Syndicate Chittagong Divisional Commissioner Md. Tofail Islam. Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and University Registrar (Additional Duties) Professor Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Humayun Kabir acted as Syndicate Secretary in the meeting.
