Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) has shown surprise in the US-based world famous QS University Ranking-2023. It has a global ranking of 400 among universities in Asia and is ranked 92nd among universities in South Asia. CUET has been ranked 6th among top 14 universities, 2nd best among engineering universities and 3rd best public university in the country.
The ranking gives CUET a score of 39.6 percent in academic reputation, 47.2 percent in employer reputation, 71.1 percent in citations per paper, and 55 percent in high-index citations. CUET Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Alam congratulated all the teachers-researchers, students, officials and employees of the CUET family for such an unprecedented achievement of the university in the global ranking.
