CUET halls to reopen on October 20

All the residential halls of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) will be reopened on October 20.  

However, only the final year students who took the first dose of Corona can enter the halls at the moment. 

Besides, it was decided to take postponed examinations of different departments and examinations of all departments.

The decision was taken at the 134th meeting of the Academic Council of the university on Wednesday morning.

The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Dr Mohammad Rafiqul Alam presided over the function. The meeting was attended by the Registrar (Additional Responsibilities) of the University, Prof Dr Farooq-uz-Zaman Chowdhury and heads of various departments.

According to the decision of the Academic Council, all the residential halls of the university will be opened from 8 am on October 20.  However, only final year students can get up.  If they also want to get up, the first dose of vaccine is mandatory.  And those who have not yet received the first dose of vaccine are instructed to contact the Student Welfare Department along with the birth registration certificate.

It was decided to conduct the URP, Architecture and PME examinations on October 28.  Examinations will be held on November 4 and November 11 in all departments.
