The Chittagong University (CU) authorities decided to hold the examinations of various departments which were postponed due to coronavirus pandemic.
The decision was taken at a meeting of CU's academic council on Sunday.
CU Acting Registrar Professor SM Monirul Hasan confirmed the matter to Bangladesh Post.
He said a policy decision has been taken to the hygiene rules while holding the postponed examinations.
A committee headed by CU Vice-Chancellor has been formed in this regard, he added.
Head of departments will fix the examination routine in consultation with the students, he said adding that university dormitories will remain closed.
On CU entry test Prof Hasan said they have agreed to hold in-person admission test.
“We will wait until December. The central admission committee will decide after publishing the result of HSC examinations,” he added.
