A cheque for Tk 1 crore 3 lakh 12 thousand 500 received for tuition fee of Chittagong University Center for Business Administration (CUCBA) evening MBA program was handed over to the Vice-Chancellor of the university Prof. Dr. Shireen Akhtar.
The cheque handing over ceremony was held at a restaurant in Chattogram on Thursday evening.
Director of CUCBA Prof. Dr. Mohammad Jamal Uddin handed over the cheque to CU VC and Governing Body President Prof. Dr. Shireen Akhtar. At the time, dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Vice President of the Governing Body Prof. Md. Helal Uddin Nizami, chairpersons of various departments and other members of the Governing Body were present. CU syndicate members, former deans of Faculties, former directors of different centres, CU Registrar (Acting), Controller of Accounts (Acting), Controller of Examinations (Acting), Deputy Registrar (Academic), Deputy Registrar (Information) were present on the occasion.
Prof. Dr. Shireen Akhtar said that to advance any institution, the wholehearted cooperation of the government as well as all concerned is necessary. Under the supervision of very talented teachers teaching at CUCBA, this institution is playing an important role in creating skilled, qualified and enlightened human resources in the country with great reputation.
The CU VC advised all concerned including respected teachers to play a more sincere role to continue the reputation of this institution.
