CU closed sine die

All classes and tests of Chittagong University (CU) have been suspended indefinitely due to outbreak of the corona virus (Covid-19) pandemic. However, the office will remain closed until April 25.

The information was revealed in a news release sent from the university's Information and Photography Branch on Sunday. According to the notice, the government has already extended the general leave till April 25, due to outbreak of the corona virus pandemic. Moreover, the holy week of Ramadan is going to start in the last week of this month. In this situation, all the classes and exams of Chittagong University have been postponed until further instruction.

The notice added that before the re-classes and examinations have started, it will be informed to all concerned including the students through the press release. 

Besides, all the offices of Chittagong University (except emergency services) of government's directive will be closed till April 25, 2020. Earlier, the university was closed from March 16 to April 9.
