Corona situation has again delayed the admission test of the first year of graduation (honors) of Chattogram University (CU) for 2020-21 academic year.
The admission tests has been rescheduled to be held from June 22 to July 1, which will begin after two more months. The decision was taken at a meeting of the university's deans committee on Sunday. Acting Registrar of the University Professor SM Monirul Hasan confirmed this matter. He said the Deans Committee has decided to take the admission test this year between August 20-27 considering the Corona situation. However, it has not been decided yet when the unit will be tested.
It is learned that a total of 1 lakh 83 thousand 870 students have applied for CU in 4 units and 2 sub-units this year. However, 11,922 applicants were excluded from the admission process due to non-deposit. This year 37 students will fight for each seat.
