The Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) has organized this four-day fair in the port city with the theme ‘Swapnil Abashan Sabuj Desh, Lal Sabujer Bangladesh’.
Chattogram's five-star hotel Radisson Blue Bay View is hosting the four-day Rehab accommodation fair starting from Thursday.
Abdul Kauiam Chowdhury, Chairman of the Regional Committee of Rehab Chattogram, presented the details of the fair in a press conference at the Rehab Chattogram divisional office in East Nasirabad on Wednesday afternoon.
Later, Rehab Director and Co-Chairman of Rehab Chattogram Fair Mahbub Sobhan Jalal Tanveer answered various questions of the journalists.
First Vice President of Rehab Kamal Mahmud, Third Vice President Sharif Ali Khan, Co-Chairman of Rehab Chattogram Fair-1 Engineer Didarul Haque Chowdhury were present in the press conference.
It was informed in the press conference that the commercial city of Chattogram has become busy with the capital Dhaka. Along with accommodation, Rehab has played an important role in ensuring accommodation for tourists coming to Chattogram. The activities of Chattogram Rehab Zonal Office started in October 2006 to fully support the housing sector of Chattogram region above all to the housing traders of Chattogram area. Since then Rehab Chattogram is going to organize the 15th fair to ensure safe investment along with aesthetic and planned urbanization transformation for the people of the port city of Chattogram.
One of the goals of rehab is to build a beautiful and planned livable city for the next generation. More than 900 member developer organizations of Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) are working tirelessly to solve the country's housing problems.
It was informed in the press conference that some linkage institutions including financial institutions and building materials have been given the opportunity to participate in this fair. Two organizations are participating as gold sponsors in the fair. A total of 48 organizations participated in the fair, including 17 organizations participating as co-sponsors, 6 banks and financial institutions, 5 building materials.
Chittagong Rehab Fair will continue till February 26.
