Ctg Railway Police raise awareness to stop accidents

Chattogram Railway Police has organised an 'Open House day' meeting to stop stone pelting on moving trains, warning against ignorant parties and molam parties (muggers who put ointment or other substances on victims' eyes causing short-term loss of vision) in train travel, crossing railway crossings and railway lines, traveling on the roof of trains.

 Chattogram Railway police station Officer-in-charge Mazharul Karim presided over this open house day meeting at the railway station area on Wednesday.

Chattogram Railway Superintendent of Police Mohammad Hasan Chowdhury was present as the chief guest in the meeting. 

He said, one should observe the movement of the person around him. Inform Railway Police if suspicious or carrying illegal goods.  While traveling in the train, I request you not to eat any food or drink offered by a stranger to avoid unconscious party and molam party.

Climbing on the roof, side and engine of the train should be avoided in inconsistently dangerous situations.  Do not travel by train without ticket, get on and off with caution after coming to a complete stop at the train station.

Keep your bags and valuables carefully.  Avoid buying tickets from ticket black marketers.  Ticket black marketer, help police to nab stone pelter on moving train.  All are requested to close train windows to protect themselves from stones pelted by miscreants.

The meeting was also attended by the people of the area adjacent to the railway station, railway police station officers, DB, station manager, station master, RNB, railway officials, journalists, local shopkeepers, railway security forces and passengers were present at the station. 

At the end of the event, the Railway Police wants everyone's cooperation to assist the police in arresting the drug dealers/robbers.
