The CPA on Tuesday issued a notice to extend the benefit. The Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) extended the waiver on store rent of all types of imported containers till May 16 in line with the extension of the government’s general holiday amid at stemming the coronavirus outbreak.
A circular signed by the director of the port's transport department was issued on the matter on Tuesday. It said that waiver would be applicable if delivery of the containers from the port yards by May 16.
