Chattogram Evercare Hospital, the largest hospital in the port city, has achieved a significant milestone by successfully completing 100 cardiac surgeries. This achievement was announced during a press conference.
Dr. Asif Ahmed Bin Moin, Senior Consultant of the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery Department, shared details about the surgeries performed. He highlighted that 93 of the 100 surgeries were Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), with 1 CABG with AVR (Aortic Valve Replacement), 5 ASD (Atrial Septal Defect) closures, and 1 DVR (Mitral Valve Repair). Notably, all CABG procedures were performed by off-pump beating heart technique, and almost 80pc of these patients were having high risk left main coronary artery disease.
“We are thrilled to share that each patient who underwent these cardiac surgeries is now recovering well and enjoying better days,” Dr. Moin stated, “This success is a testament to the tireless efforts of our highly skilled doctors and dedicated team who are committed to providing comprehensive care to every patient.”
