Ctg DC instructs traders to follow health rules

Bangladesh is currently facing the second phase of the corona epidemic.  In order to run a business smoothly during the month of Ramadan, shops and shopping malls should be kept open in compliance with health rules, said Deputy Commissioner of Chattogram Md Mominur Rahman.

The DC said this during an exchange meeting with the traders in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's Office on Wednesday.

The view exchange was held under the chairmanship of DC while, various representatives of the Chattogram Metropolitan Business Shop Owners Association remained present.

Chattogram DC Mohammad Mominur Rahman said the shop owners' association has been instructed to be strict in complying with the restrictions announced by the government in order to prevent the speedy transmission of the corona virus.

He further said that everyone should be provided with hand sanitizer and wear a mask, social distance should be ensured, shops and shopping malls should be kept open as per the time limit announced by the government, placards with government instructions should be placed in front of shopping malls and shops.  Copies of the new notification issued by the Cabinet Division were distributed to all present.
