Crosshairs on stars

Bollywood, the new field of anti-drug campaign

The new playing field for Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) comprises of the entire Bollywood scene. No one is getting free from it all that easily and, the more time passes the murkier the water gets. The only question remains is who will ultimately face the charges?

It all started with the investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case (not saying murder or suicide since it is yet to be decided in court). But slowly Rhea Chakraborty got entangled into the web of ever spinning scrutiny of the Sushant fans as a suspect for his death.

The story then rolls onto taking marijuana and drugs and what not. This ultimately resulted in the NCB getting aboard the Sushant case, resulting in Rhea getting arrested and the names of a few big Bollywood stars came up to be involved in drugs.

This is where the story goes on and nears to the present time scenario of Deepika in an emotionally distressed condition and in tears, her phone being seized. But she is not the only star on whom the NCB crosshairs have fallen. Amongst the list of stars that have had their phones seized are Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor.

Through interrogation of two consecutive days so far Deepika’s involvement in the drug chat group has been confirmed by Indian media also on that note all four stars have refuted the allegations of Sushant taking drugs.

And right after this the spotlight of drug users (suspected) was also shared to Karan Johar who very strongly rejected the allegations. Then the bigger gossip erupted when NCB again shared their next target to be Shahid Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan. We have yet to see the scenes unfold on that sphere.

But, conscious groups are questioning whether all this drug highlighting is putting a cloak over the case of Sushant’s death.
