Chattogram Port Authority has given a cheque of Tk 75 crore 11 lakh 59 thousand 275 for the 283.23 acres of land acquired for the development project around Matarbari seaport.
The check was handed over at the Cox's Bazar district administration office on Wednesday.
Matarbari Port Development Project Director Mir Zahid Hasan handed over the check to Cox's Bazar Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Al Amin Parvez.
Assistant Manager (Land) Muhammad Shihab Uddin of Estate Department of Chattogram Port was present at the occasion.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Al Amin Parvez said the acquisition of the acquired land would be handed over to the Chattogram Port Authority soon.
