Chattogram Port Authority's annual sports competition of was held in a joyful atmosphere.
Chairman of Port Authority Rear Admiral M Shahjahan inaugurated the competition organized by Chattogram Port Authority Sports Association at Engineer Shahid Shamshuzzaman Stadium on Thursday. Port officials and their family members participated in the competition.
Running, rain throwing, musical pillow, basket ball, tug of war and dress up as you like were organized as competitions. Officials and their family members spontaneously participated in the day-long event from morning. In the afternoon, the Chairman of the Port Authority distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
Chattogram Port chairman said, sports are an integral part of our life. Our society now has very limited means of entertainment. We all are very busy at work. Chattogram port officials and employees are busy to keep the national economic activities running throughout the year. They get a lot of time to participate in sports or exercise.
Everyone has voluntarily participated in this competition and it is a great pleasure for us.
At this time, he directed to organize sports and cultural competitions separately in educational institutions run by the port.

Omar Faruq, Assistant Secretary ANM Faruq Hossain Chowdhury and various officials of Chattogram Port Authority were present at the time. 35 events are held in the day-long annual sports competition. Earlier in the morning, the port chairman inaugurated the competition by blowing up balloons.
