A college student named Sabilus Salehin, 18, was stabbed to death at Dakshin Muhuri Para in Cox's Bazar Sadar on Saturday afternoon.
Deceased Sabilus Salehin, a student of Cox's Bazar Polytechnic College was the son of Hakim Ullah of Muhuri Para. Police have arrested three people in this incident. Rafiqus Salehin, brother of the deceased, said that Sabilus was stabbed over a argument with Rohingya Hossain, a resident of the area.
When injured Sabilus was rescued and taken to the hospital, he was declared dead, he added. However, he could not confirm the reason behind the argument. Cox's Bazar Sadar Police Station OC Md. Selim Uddin said accused Hossain's elder brothers Jubayer, Rafiq and cousin Yasin were arrested in this connection. Attempts are underway to arrest Hossain, he added.
