Mass vaccination activities have started in Cox's Bazar, a tourist city like the rest of the country. Crowds of vaccinators have been observed in the centers.
Dr. Md. MahbuburRahman, Civil Surgeon, Cox's Bazar, said that the mass education program has started from morning in 226 centers of 4 municipalities and 72 unions of Cox's Bazar district. He said he had personally visited several centers.
The target for mass vaccination in 72 unions including Cox's Bazar Municipality, Chakaria Municipality, Teknaf Municipality, Maheshkhali Municipality has been set at 7,400 today.
District Civil Surgeon DrMahbuburRahman said the center would be expanded as needed. Vaccination time is given up to four, but if there are still people coming to any center to get vaccinated, they must be vaccinated. The Civil Surgeon said that there is sufficient stock of vaccines in Cox's Bazar. Ticker has no problem. We want to bring every citizen of Cox's Bazar under vaccination.
