Cox's Bazar has celebrated the 3rd National Voters' Day (Election Day) with the slogan "If you are 18, it is the time to be a voter". On this occasion, 18-day-long service has been launched. Cox's Bazar District Election Office inaugurated the National Voters' Day programme on Tuesday morning by releasing balloons.
Cox's Bazar Deputy Commissioner Mamunur Rashid, District Election Officer SM Shahadat Hossain, Additional Deputy Commissioner Amin Al Parvez, Cox's Bazar Sadao Upazila Election Officer Shimul Rashma were present at the programme. The district election office has launched a 17-day service on the occasion of national voters.
Among them are new voter registration, distribution of smart NID cards, registration of expatriate applicants on priority basis, voter transfer, NID amendment and so on.
