Following the ban, due to the Corona epidemic, the tourist spots of the country including Cox's Bazar sea beach are reopening in the second phase from today (August 19), following the health rules.

However, the tourists started moving around the beach from Wednesday. All the hotels, motels, guesthouses and various business establishments have been cleaned and prepared for the tourists.

Tourist police and lifeguards have started working to ensure security of the tourists. The shops in the beach area are open and the traders are sitting. Owners of hotels, motels, guest houses and restaurants are doing everything in line with the government's decision to open up the tourism sector to everyone in a risk-free manner, including renting 50 per cent rooms in compliance with 100 per cent hygiene rules.

Observers are being kept from the district administration to see if the health rules are being followed. After a long day, the people concerned are happy that the entertainment centers including the beach have been opened.

Cox's Bazar is the longest sea beach in the world, where tourists come from all over the country for entertainment. However, tourist spots including beaches were closed down due to the global corona epidemic. In the second phase, all the tourist centers including the beach are being reopened from August 19 in accordance with the health rules.

The government announced a lockdown from April 1 this year to combat the second wave of corona. Similarly, the district administration closed all entertainment centers including Cox's Bazar beach. Since then, tourists have refrained from visiting beaches and recreation centers.

However, the government has decided to open the tourism and entertainment centers from August 19 in compliance with the health rules. A notification in this regard has also been issued by the Cabinet Division. All tourist centers, hotels, motels, guesthouses, resorts, community centers and recreation centers have been asked to use 50 per cent of the seats in compliance with the health rules.

The owners said that all the hotels, motels, guesthouses and other business establishments have been prepared for the purpose. Earlier, the government lifted the all-out lockdown and started public transport with half of the passengers from August 11. Tourists are crowding on the beach before the tourist spot is opened. Some are riding a horse, while others are enjoying a beach trip by taking a bath on the beach. Tourists from Dhaka Rafiqul Islam, Zulfiqar and Naima were talking at Laboni Point on the beach yesterday afternoon. They said they had been on a beach trip after being released from house arrest in Corona for a long time. Everyone is bringing family members with them.
