Covid-19 now in 64 dists, 4 tested positive in Rangamati

With the detection of four more patients with Coronavirus infection in Rangamati district,  Covid-19 ( Coronavirus) patients in the country are now spread to all 64 districts of the country.

Dr. Hasan Shahriar Kabir, Divisional Health Director of Chittagong, confirmed the matter of Rangamati on Wednesday noon. 

Dr. Kabir said, at the Laboratory of Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences Department, 122 samples of suspected Coronavirus patients were tested of which results of 22 tests were found positive.

Of those 13 are from Chittagong, four from Rangamati, one each from Luxmipur and Feni districts and two from Noakhali district. With the detection of four Corona patients in Rangamati, now the disease has been spread in all 64 districts of the country. 

It is learnt so far 128 Coronavirus patients have been detected in Chittagong and nine patients including one child and two women died by being attacked with Coronavirus in the district. 

Moreover, six persons also died in isolation, samples of five of those dead persons were tested negative.  However, 30 patients returned home after getting well, 149 patients are in isolation and 1,403 persons are in the home quarantine.
