Ashraful Islam of the Kushtia Special Judge's Court handed down the verdict against the CSI of the Judicial Magistrate's Court on Monday. Both the accused were present in the court in person. The convict was sent to jail after the verdict was announced.

The case was conducted by ACC-appointed Public Prosecutor Advocate Al Mujahid Hossain Mithu.

According to court sources, on 12 December of 2012, Shah Ali, former deputy assistant director of the ACC, Kushtia filed a case under section 496/10 against two of the accused former court inspectors for embezzling Tk 63,200.
