Renowned litterateur, critics and novelist Professor Hasan Azizul Haque has said, the country was progressing peacefully under the able leadership of the daughter of Bangabandhu Sheikh Hasina.
“Once this country was rife with clash, conflict and injustice but Sheikh Hasina brought back environment of peace in the country. Now a day, many countries are ravaged by terrorism and militancy. Many countries also running their administration through making a compromise with militants. However, bold leadership of Sheikh Hasina did not even think of making any compromise with militancy and terrorism. As a result, people of the country were enjoying peace, living in a secured environment. Over all activities of the government of Sheikh Hasina are also satisfactory," he said.
Professor Hasan Azizul Haque mentioned on the birth anniversary of Sheikh Hasina that she has started fighting against corruption and she should show zero tolerance in question of corruption.
However, it is not possible only for her to fight against all corrupt people. Now, it is clearly visible in which stage the corruption has reached in the country! Some were smuggling billions of Taka abroad by opening casinos and boards of gambling. The government has taken hard stance against those dishonest people. "We hailed the action of Sheikh Hasina against the corrupts. The country is sure to develop if root of the corruption can be rout out."
Recalling past memory of Sheikh Hasina, Professor Hasan Azizul Haque said, Sheikh Hasina has been a good writer from her early girlhood. "I have been reading her articles whenever she had been a student of Eden College. She writes in a simple, easy language. She wrote memorabilia of her parents and her brothers in a simple, easy, comprehensible language. "
He expects, it would be excellent if Sheikh Hasina would try to remove disparity of wealth in the country. She should pay further attention towards the poor farmers, farm and agricultural land and the proper management of Khas land. "Who own the farm land? Are they happy?
