Minister for Environment, Forests and Climate Change Md Shahab Uddin said the country is moving forward at an unstoppable pace under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. She is working day and night to improve the living standards of the people of the country.
The minister made this assertion while speaking as the chief guest at an exchange meeting with officials of the concerned departments on the ongoing development activities of the district in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner of Moulvibazar at noon on Friday. Environment Minister Shahab Uddin said development activities in Bangladesh continued even when development activities around the world were halted due to the Covid-19 virus. Despite such development, conspiracies against Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her government continue. People need to be vigilant and united to deal with this conspiracy.
During the exchange of views, the Minister inquired about the overall development of Moulvibazar district from the officials of the concerned department. He emphasizes on working honestly and keeping the quality of all work intact. Minister Shahab Uddin said a lot of development work has been done in Moulvibazar during the tenure of the present government. He directed the concerned officials to complete the development work in time.
The function was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Mir Nahid Ahsan and was attended by Member of Parliament and District Awami League President Nesar Ahmed, District Council Chairman and District Awami League General Secretary Misbahur Rahman, Municipal Mayor Fazlur Rahman and senior officials of various departments.
