Mount Whitney, located in east California, is the highest mountain in the mainlandUSA (48 adjoining US states) which has a summit elevation of 14, 505 feet (4,421 meters).

Asad Azim and Tariq Nasim, both are taking higher education at Arizona State University in the United States.

Childhood intense intoxication of climbing hills led Asad Azim conquered this peak.

‘At childhood, climbing the hills at Chattogram forms a big philosophical foundation of my life..... Every time I make an achievement, I find a new direction, a new aspect of life philosophy, a new dream....’, he said.

Asad Azim had previously scaled Mount Mercy, New York's highest mountain, Mount Chocorua in New Hampshire, Mount Hopkins in Arizona and so on.

Tariq Nasim has also developed mountain hiking from his childhood. Back from the highest peak of Mount Whitney, he wrote on his Facebook handle,..... I got stuck in this hiking love at childhood asmy father Md. Abdul Haq along with his children was used to wander hills around Anwara in Chattogram to find mountain flower saplings.

Later at university life, I used to wander hills behind the university (SUST) at Sylhet aimlessly, all this has slowly made me ready for this difficult hike of today, he ended.
