The 1st convention of Comilla University (CoU) will be held on January 27, says a press release issued on Sunday signed by the university's Public Relations Officer (acting) Mohammad Emdadul Haque. A central committee and various sub-committees were formed to organize the conclave and the registration process which will begin soon. Details of the convention will be made available through notice and the university's website.
According to the university administration, the President will formally award the degree to those students who have completed their graduation from the 1st to the 8th batch of the university and those who have completed their postgraduate from the 1st to the 6th batch. It will have the opportunity to register up to 3550 undergraduate and 2052 postgraduate students. Registrar of the University (additional responsibility) Prof. Dr. Md. Abu Taher said, ‘It was reported from the Presidential Office on Sunday. Our preparations have begun. I wish the cooperation of all the families of the University.’
