Hasena Begum, an Assistant Professor of Anthropology, has resigned from the post of Assistant Proctor of Comilla University (KUBI) citing personal reasons. He sent the resignation letter to the registrar on Monday (March 1).
In his resignation letter, she said, “I am expressing my inability to perform the duties of the said post due to personal reasons.
However, I promise to carry out any duties related to the interests of the university and students in the future.”
Before this, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall Provost Prof. Tofail Hossain Majumder resigned on February 07, Mahbubul Haque Bhuiyan, media adviser of the university on February 07, Assistant Proctor Mahmudul Hasan on February 18 and Assistant Proctor Md. Kamrul Hasan on February 20 and Sheikh Hasina Hall's resident teacher Kulchum Akter Sapna resigned.
In addition, in the Syndicate meeting on March 19, Prof. Dr. Sheikh Mokhsedur Rahman resigned from the position of Syndicate member, showing the reason of 'non-agenda and illegal appointment of dean'. On March 20, four resident teachers of four halls resigned. Mohammad Ainul Haque, convener of the university sports management committee and university sports representative, resigned last March 28.
