Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASE) has launched the second corona virus sample testing lab in Chittagong.
“The Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (BITID) lab was given 20 samples on Saturday morning”, said Dr. Junaid Siddiqui Professor of Pathology and Parasitology in charge of the lab.
He said that 20 samples were given for corona test in our lab. The report was prepared by examining them on first day. The report will be handed over to the BITID authorities in the evening. This sample test activity has started on a PCR machine. Professor Dr. Junaid Siddiqui said that the test was started in a PCR machine.
If (government or health administration) wants 5 machine corona sample test activities can be run. We got enough volunteers to run the lab.
A letter signed by the Additional Director General (Administration) of the Department Prof. Dr. Nasima Sultana informed the Vice Chancellor of the University about the permission for Corona examination on last April 21.
