A corona disinfectant tunnel was inaugurated on the road to keep the people of Rajbari free from Corona virus infection on Saturday.
The tunnel was set up on the road in front of Rajbari Municipality office in collaboration with 55 Infantry Division of Bangladesh Army.
21 Infantry Brigade Commander Brigadier General Riazur Rahman, Rajbari Municipal Mayor Mohammad Ali Chowdhury, 10 East Bengal Commander Lieutenant Colonel Manjurul Haque, Deputy Commander Major Imran and others were present at the time.
Following the inauguration, the tunnel was handed over to the municipal authorities for operation. At this time, small vehicles and ordinary people started moving through the tunnel. Brigadier General Riazur Rahman, commander said the army is ready to set more tunnels at key locations in the town selected by the district administration and municipal authorities.
