AKM Shahjahan Kamal, MP from Laxmipur-3 constituency and former Civil Aviation Minister, has inaugurated the construction work of Terbeki Bridge over Rahmat Khal, a canal at Terbeki Bazaar area in Lakshmipur.
AKM Shahjahan laid the foundation stone of the bridge at a function as the chief guest on Monday. Executive Engineer of Roads and Highways Subrata Dutta presided over the function, while district Awami League general secretary Advocate Nuruddin Chowdhury and municipal Awami League president Ismail Hossain Chowdhury were present, among others.
The 186-foot length bridge will be constructed at Tk 16 crore within a year.
