The construction works of 15 bridges in different unions of Bogura Sadar started on Wednesday.
Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief is working to construct those bridges including some broken and dilapidated bridges of that area. After completing those work, lakhs of people of that area will be benefitted and the communication network of that upazila will go one step farther, said Abu Sufian Safiq, Sadar Upazila Awami League President and Upazila Parishad Chairman, while he inaugurating the construction work of 36 feet RCC Bridge over Feskar Bill on Bhatuali village to Polikukrul link road on Wednesday.
Among others, it was attended by Azizur Rahman, upazila Nirbahi Officer, Riazul Islam Reaz, upazila health officer, Abdus Salam Babu, vice president of Bogura press Club, Alim Uddin, chairman of Nungola union parishad, Mehedi Hassan, Sub Assistant Engineer, union poarishad members and many others.
