With the slogan, " Today's Khelaghar( play station) is tomorrow's Bangladesh, " the conference of 'Khelaghar Asar' of the district was held at the Hasan Raja auditorium of Shilpakala Academy in Sunamganj on Friday.
The function started with a rally which started from in front of the Shilpakala Academy and after parading various streets of the town it ended to hold the conference. Dr. Abu Sayed, Presidium Member of Central Khlaghar Asar inaugurated the function by hoisting the national and the party flags.
Presided over by Bijoy Sen Roy, President of Khelaghar, Sunamganj, the function was conducted by Enam Ahmed, General Secretary of the organisation which was attended, among others, by Advocate Pir Fazlur Rahman Misbah, Members of Parliament of Sunamganj-4 constituency as the chief guest, Mohammad Abdul Ahad, Deputy Commissioner of Sunamganj as special guest, Runu Ali, General Secretary of central Khelaghar, Mohibur Rahman Sipon, Nigar Sultana Keya, Badal Kar and Matiur Rahman.
Speakers at the function said, there was no alternative to Khelagahar in building Bangladesh with the non-communal conscience of the War of Liberation. They vehemently criticised the child-torture and murder of the children and called upon all to send their children to the Khelaghar to flourish their talent and to grow them as men full with humane qualities.
