In order to increase the skills of government officials and employees on computers and updating the web portal, the training of officials of various departments was inaugurated on the second floor of Upazila Parishad on Tuesday in Titas of Comilla.
Upazila Computer Hub was launched with 12 state-of-the-art computers on May 2 to increase the computer skills of upazila level government officials and employees. After the inauguration of the lab, 24 officers and employees were imparted theoretical and practical training on D-Nothi. In continuation of this, a week-long training on web portal updating of all department heads has started from Tuesday.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer ATM Morshed said that the main purpose of establishing such a computer hub is to increase the skills of all the government officials and employees in all the office activities and bring mobility and make them efficient in the workplace with the aim of building a digital Bangladesh. In this hub, not only officers and employees; Training will be arranged for teachers-staff and students of schools-college-madrasas.
Chairman of Upazila Parishad Parvez Hossain Sarkar said that in the near future, Titas Upazila will provide more support to Titas Upazila residents in the field of digital technology in the implementation of 4IR. More computers will be added to the hub if required.
