A bogie of the Titas Commuter Train derailed on Thursday near Talshahar Railway Station in Brahmanbaria's Ashuganj upazila, disrupting train services on the down line of the Dhaka–Chattogram and Dhaka–Sylhet routes.
The incident occurred around 12:30pm when the Dhaka-bound train was heading towards Brahmanbaria, railway officials said.
Confirming the derailment, Brahmanbaria Railway Station Master Md Nazmul Hossain said one wheel of a bogie went off the tracks. No casualties were reported in the incident.
