A student of Baraiyarhat Degree College under Jorarganj thana of Mirsarai upazila was killed in a road mishap in Baraiyarhat area on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway in the district on Thursday afternoon.
The victim was identified as Abu Sayeed, hailed from West Jorargonj under Mirsari upazila of the district. The angry mob vandalized the bus and blocked the Dhaka-Chattogram highway for an hour. Sub-Inspector of Jorargonj Police Station Mohammad Alamgir confirmed the news of the accident to media. Police detained the bus but none was arrested in this regard.
