Earlier this month Coca-Cola announced the entry of ‘Coke Studio Bangla’, the Bangladesh edition of Coca-Cola’s international music property - Coke Studio.
It will celebrate the real magic of traditional Bangla music which will bring together diverse artists of different genre to create extraordinary series of medleys, giving music lovers across the country a unique opportunity to enjoy Coke Studio’s signature fusion music.
On Wednesday February 23, ’Coke Studio Bangla’ drops their first song on YouTube.
The first season of the project will put out a playlist of 10 songs, focusing on the folk heritage of Bangladesh. It may also come up with a few surprise musical numbers. Each song will reflecting the rich musical heritage of the country and presents us with fusion of various genres of music.
The theme song of the highly anticipated show titled "Ekla Cholo" was released at the launch, the Coke Studio Bangla season 1 sung by Arnob, BappaMajumdar, Samina Chowdhury, Mumtaz, Kona, Pantho Kanai, Rituraj, Masha, MizanNandita, Rubayat,BogaTaleb, Animes Roy, and Sheikh Ishtiaq.
This season is being helmed by renowned singer and composer, Shayan Chowdhury Arnob, who has joined the show as the music producer, and will see various popular music artistes coming together to perform. Music lovers will be able to enjoy the magical creation of this fusion platform on Coca-Cola Bangladesh’s official Facebookpage &Youtube Channel and Spotify.
