Bangladesh Coast Guard arrested a man in possession of some 530 kg of hemp at Patkelpota village in Paikgacha upazila of Khulna on Monday.
The detainee was identified as Milon, 30, son of Rafiqul Gazi of Patkelpota village, said a press release..
It said the man along and the seized drug was handed over to the local police.
The Coast Guard will continue its raids against drugs, robbery, and intruding in future, said the release.
