Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) West Division is distributing food items to poor and distressed people in Corona situation.
CMP Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Shyamal Kumar Nath inaugurated the food distribution program in 24 bit areas of CMP West Division at Dulhan Community Center of Halishahar Police Station on Sunday afternoon.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Mohammad Abdul Warish, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (DB-South) Shah Abdur Rauf and other senior police officials were present on the occasion.
Each family is being given 6 kg of rice, 1 kg of pulses, 1 kg of onion, 2 kg of potatoes, 1 liter of edible oil, 1 kg of other food items along with a total of 12 kg of food and essentials.
The assistance will be delivered to 10,000 poor families in 24 bit areas.
