The Batch Admission Test Committee has issued new directives for applicants to the 24 clustered public universities for the academic year 2023–24 regarding the submission of photographs/selfies.

Applicants who have not adhered to the guidelines for uploading their photographs/selfies have been instructed to revise and upload them by April 8.

In a statement released to the media on Thursday, the Committee emphasized that candidates whose photographs, selfies, or both have not been accepted according to the guidelines must ensure compliance and upload revised versions. Failure to do so by 10 pm on April 8, following the prescribed  guidelines, will result in the inability to participate in the admission test.

With the admission test scheduled to commence on April 27 for the 2023–24 academic year, a staggering 305,346 applications have been received for approximately 21,000 available seats across the 24 public universities.

This influx of applications indicates fierce competition, with an average of 15 students vying for each available seat.
