Civil surgeon holds press conference over coronavirus

Civil Surgeon of Chuadanga Dr ASM Maruf Hasan urged all through a press conference on Thursday at his office room to wash  hands using soap and water, cover  mouth during coughing, cook  meat and fish in heavily boiled water, avoid to eat sick fish and animals' meat as a part of prevent of coronavirus.

He also added that a total of 83 persons have returned home from Italy, America, Singapore, Malaysia, Koria and India up to March 19. Of the total 02 persons are in sadar upazila, 35 persons in Alamdanga upazila, 13 persons in Damurhuda upazila and 33 persons in Jibannagar upazila. They are  in home quarantine.  Health assistants and medical officers have been taking care of them. 

One returnee from Italy is admitted to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital Isolation ward on March 16. They are now under treatment. A team of IEDCR     came to Chuadanga hospital and took symptoms from him. IEDCR sent a report on March 19 to Chuadanga CS that stated he was carrying coronavirus, Civil Surgeon said.
