Jahidul Islam, Superintend of Police (SP) in Chuadanga, distributed 500 blankets among poor people of Alamdanga upazila town on the premises of Alamdanga Police Station on January 14. A discussion meeting was held on the occasion. The meeting was presided over by Sayeed Asikur Rahman, OC of Alamdanga police station.
Jahidul Islam, SP, was present as chief guest. It was addressed by Kalimullah, Additional SP, Shah Alam Montu, president of Alamdanga press club, Hamidul Islam, general secretary of Alamdanga press club and Mir Shafiqul Islam, general secretary of Alamdanga Banik Samity. After discussion meeting 500 blankets were distributed among poor people of the upazila town.
