Members of Chuadanga District Police and other police stations of Chuadanga chalked out different programmes on Sunday at around 6 pm for raising awareness among the people of the areas to prevent themselves from coronavirus at second phase.
The programmes included street meetings and distribution of masks among pedestrians.
Jahidul Islam, Superintendent of Police along with other police officers held street meetings at different points of the district town for creating awareness about coronavirus, using masks and following health rules.
SP Jahidul Islam said, “Awareness only can save and prevent us from COVID-19.” Later police distributed masks at several points.
The same programmes were held in four upazila police stations and other police stations in the district.
Sign boards and banners were hanged throughout the district inscribed maintaining health rules in the coronavirus period. Publicity on coronavirus was also conducted through mikes in villages of
the district.
