A views exchange and introduction meeting was held at Police Super Conference room on August 23 at 6 pm between local journalists and newly joined Superintendent of Police Abdullah Al Mamun. The program was arranged by District Police. Newly joined Police Super Al Mamun said the police department of Chuadanga will try to curb drug abuse, prevention early marriage, improving traffic system, controlling adolescence crimes, maintain law and order through attachment of people with police.
He also urged upon the local journalists to cooperate him for implement and succeeding in these regards.
Additional Police Super (admin and finance) Abu Tarek, Additional Police Super Anisuzzaman, OC of Chuadanga Sadar Police Station Mahbubur Rahman Kazol, Officer in Charge of Detective Branch Alamgir Hossain and Officer in Charge (Traffic) Fokrul Islam were present at the views exchange meeting. On the other hand local journalists of printing and electronic media, and Chuadanga based newspapers’ editors attended at the meeting.
