Zahangir Alam, Editor of Weekly Khozkhobor, a local weekly newspaper, died of heart attack on Sunday(January 3).
The journalist of Chuadanga breathed his last at about 3:30 am.
According to family sources, Zahangir Alam expressed himself that he was felling serious pain in chest. Immediately members of the family took him to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital but on duty Medical Officer Dr. Mahbubur Rahman declared him dead.
He left behind his wife, two daughters, journalist colleagues, well wishers and a host of relatives to mourn his death.
His Namaj-e-Janaja was held on the premises of Chuadanga Saheetya Parishad. Political leaders, journalists, members of Saheetya parishad andwell wishers took part at the Namaj-e-anaja. He was buried at Jannatul Moula Grave Yard in the town.
