Chuadanga-Free Day was observed on Monday (December 7) under the auspices of District Awami League and its front organisations, Muktizoddha Sangsad and Chuadanga District Administration.
On the occasion, they placed wreaths at Eight martyred grave and monument of freedom fighters. They also observed one-minute sile nce program, milad mohfil and discussion.
Chuadanga district Awami League, Sromik League and Chhatra League placed wreaths on Eight Martyred Grave and arranged a milad mohfil with special munajat and discussion on the day.
Solaiman Hoque Joarder, MP of Chuadanga-1 constituency, Masuduzzaman, organising secretary of district Awami League, Afzalul Hoque Biswas, Ripon Mondal and Mohaimen Hasan Joarder Anik addressed at the event on the premises of martyred grave at Jogonnathpur in Damurhuda upazila of the district.
Solaiman Hoque Joarder along with party leaders and activists placed wreaths at the martyred grave in honor of freedom fighters.
Chuadanga Muktizoddha Command, District Administration along with Nazrul Islam Sarker, DC and Jahidul Islam, SP placed wreaths separately at monument of freedom fighters in the town.
