A reception program was arranged on Sunday (April 30) under the auspices of men and women of village Krishnapur in Jibannagar upazila of Chuadanga district to Sulaiman Hoque Joarder Selun, MP, for standing beside the farmers over capturing crop lands in the name of establishing solar power plant project by some people there.
The program was presided over by Nur Islam Biswas, president of Raypur Union Awami League while Solaiman Hoque Joarder Selun, MP of Chuadanga-1 constituency, was present as chief guest.
It was addressed by Munsi Alamgir Hannan, former organizing secretary of District Awamileague, Saidur Rahman Master, general secretary of Raypur Union Awamileague, Abdur Razzak, former member of District Awami League, Nasiruddin, president of Jibannagar Poura Awamileague and Jahangir Hossain, a villager of the village spoke at the program.
Speakers said, some high bread leaders of Awami League have been trying to occupy the crop lands from farmers of the village for establishing solar power plant project.
We have been fighting against them while Solaiman Hoque Joarder Selun, MP, is supporting us and giving us suggestions, for this reason we are expressing congratulations him.
