The election schedule for the Chitalmari Upazila Sadar Bazaar Business Management Committee has been officially announced.
The Chief Election Commissioner of the committee, Sheikh Shahadat Hossain Bulu, declared the schedule on Saturday evening (November 8) in the presence of market businessmen.
According to the announced schedule, nomination papers will be sold on November 10 and 11. The deadline for submission is November 12, while the scrutiny of nominations will be held on November 15. The last date for the withdrawal of candidacy and symbol allocation is November 16. The final election will be held on November 28.
A total of 708 voters are eligible to cast their votes in the election for five designated posts in the committee.
