‘Chiranjib Mujib’ releases on Dec 31

The film ' Chiranjib Mujib’ dedicated to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Sheikh Rehana will be released on December 31 in Bogura town. The film, based on Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's ' Oshomapto Attojiboni ', will be released at Madhuban Cineplex in Bogura. It is learned that it will be screened in cinema halls or cineplexes across the country in phases.

On the occasion of the release of ' Chiranjib Mujib’, Nazrul Islam, the director of the film and the speech writer of the Prime Minister, organized an exchange of views at the Bogura Zila Parishad auditorium on Thursday at 11:30 am. Bogura Deputy Commissioner Ziaul Haque, Superin­tendent of Police Sudip Kumar Chakraborty, District Awami League President Mojibur Rahman Majnu, General Secretary Ragebul Ahsan Ripu, Joint Secretary Asadur Rahman Dulu, Organizing Secretary Ed. Zakir Hossain Nawab, RM Yunus Rubel, proprietor of Madhuban Cineplex Bogra, Sariakandi Municipal Mayor Matiur Rahman Moti, District Juba League President Shubhashish Poddar Liton, General Secretary Aminul Islam Dablu, District Krishka League President Alamgir Badshah, General Secretary Manchbus General Secretary Zulfiqar Rahman Shant, Juba League leader Mobasher Hossain Siraj, District BCL President Naimur Razzak Titas and people from different walks of life took part.

Director Nazrul Islam said, part of Bangabandhu's colorful political life has been highlighted in this film. Attempts have been made to portray the times of becoming 'Bangabandhu' through various struggles and ups and downs from political leaders to ' Chiranjib Mujib’.  

Ahmed Rubel has played the role of Bangabandhu in the movie ' Chiranjib Mujib’. Purnima has played the role of Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib and Khairul Alam Sabuj and Dilara Zaman have played the roles of Bangabandhu's father and mother respectively. 

He also said that the production of the film has been completed to present the true history of Bangabandhu and Bengali liberation struggle to the new generation. ' Chiranjib Mujib’ will be released on December 31 at Madhuban Cineplex in Bogura. 

Although the film is currently being screened at the only cineplex in the country, the director said that there are plans to screen it in cinemas or cineplexes across the country in phases. 

At the end of the exchange of views, the audience enjoyed the trailer of the movie.
